Pastor Eisinger grew up in Clinton, Iowa. He attended Iowa State University, graduating with a BS degree in Urban Planning. The following year, he entered the seminary at Ft. Wayne, serving his vicarage year at St. John in Mt. Prospect, Illinois.

Before coming to Holy Cross Pastor served the congregations of Bethlehem, Engadine, Michigan (1983-1986), St. John's and Trinity, Honey Creek and Persia, Iowa (1986-1994), and St. Mark, Elko, Nevada (1994-2003). He has served as an LWML zone counselor, Synodical convention delegate, District Singles pastoral advisor, and District Youth Gathering committee person.

Peter has served as Director of Music Ministries at Holy Cross since August 29, 1999 and celebrated his 25th anniversary in the music ministry in 2007. He began his music ministry at Historic Trinity in Detroit in 1982. He has also served St. Paul, St. Clair Shores and St. Peter's, Eastpointe.

Sue has served Holy Cross as their administrative secretary since June of 2001. She previously worked as the Executive Secretary to the Chief Financial Officer of Hospice of Michigan. Prior to her work at Hospice she was the Executive Secretary at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Eastpointe for five years.
