you are feeling burdened, Stephen Ministry can help. We are here to
listen, without being judgmental. Remember that it does not have to
be a life-threatening issue. Many times just sharing your feelings can
be a worthwhile way to sort things out and help take the burden off
your shoulders. Also remember: whatever is said is confidential.

NEW
HOPE OUTREACH MINISTRY
New
Hope is a food pantry service organization. It was founded in October
of 1986 to serve the needy in the community. Our mission statement is
"We are Jesus’ Hands Extended". We distribute food, share
the Gospel, and take care of other special needs on a daily basis. We
witness to the elderly, do follow-up by letter and interface with other
service organizations. During the year 2005 we served food and other essentials
to 611 families. Three times a year (Easter, Thanksgiving & Christmas)
we have a special food and gift distribution. If you or someone you know

SHUT-IN
VISITATION MINISTRY
Specially designed for our shut-in members. We are looking for volunteers
to visit and/or telephone our shut-ins once a month. If you can spare
an hour or so of your time once a month please contact Laurel Bomers at
586-264-3840 and she will put you in touch with a shut-in who would welcome
your visit and/or phone call. If you are a shut-in and would welcome a
visit from one of our members please contact Laurel at the above number.
